Kathy Bush, 72, of Shady Point, OK, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born on December 26, 1950 in Fresno, CA to the late AJ and Violet (Reddell) Hendrix. Kathy was a Registered Nurse, she worked for many hospitals and nursing homes, notably Gravette Manor Nursing Home and The State of Arkansas as an inspector to various nursing homes. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Kathy loved arts and crafts, camping and traveling, she was an avid garage-saler and loved shopping for antiques. Kathy loved her four grandkids, she will be greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Kathy at a later date, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Kara Mitchell of Neosho MO; two sons, Jackie Gass and his wife Vith, of Hendersonville, NC and Jason Gass of Chapin, SC; a brother, Jon Hendrix and his wife Patty, of Ridgeway, AR, along with her four grandchildren; Emily, Madison, Skylar and Aidan Gass.
