After a two-and-a-half-year battle with colon cancer, John Laurence Przybysz, loving husband, Dad, Poppy, brother, and friend was received by the Lord on October 2, 2021, in his home surrounded by family, stories and laughter at the age of 55.
John was born on December 2, 1965, in Tacoma, Washington to the late Larry and Teresa Przybysz. He is survived by his wife Karen of 35 years, two sons, Matthew and Spouse Brittany, Hayden and Spouse Kelsey, one daughter, Amanda and Spouse Hunter Money, five very dear to his heart grandchildren: Ella, Savvy, Olivia, Harper, and Drew. He is also survived by his chosen brother Marc Lux, spouse Jamie and their daughters Mary Kate and Meg, as well as his brother Tom, a sister Nannette and their spouses and children. He was preceded in death by his sister Adena Przybysz Conger.
John was accomplished in many ways - after graduating from Northside High School in 1984 (Go Grizzlies), he attended Hendrix College and graduated from Arkansas Tech University. He was a Certified Public Accountant and founder of Przybysz & Associates, CPA’s, and Przybysz Wealth Management. His reach extended deep into the roots of our community where he coached youth sports, served on numerous church and local non-profit boards and quietly mentored at-risk youth. John has a heart for the Lord, and as an attendee of Life.Church, he believed that life was more about relationships than accomplishments.
A visitation will be held at Edward’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. John’s funeral will be held at Life.Church in Fort Smith on Thursday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. He will be buried at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
