John Perry Magness

John Perry Magness, 60, of Bonanza, Arkansas passed from this life June 20, 2016 in Alma. He was born January 3, 1956, in Maywood, California, to the late Charles and Virginia Daniel Magness. John had worked for OK Industries and was a member of Bonanza Church of Christ. John was loved by all that knew him and was known for his ability to make everyone laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children, daughters, Ashley Calvillo of Fort Smith and Chrystal Adams of Hackett and son, James Magness of Bonanza, Arkansas; two brothers, Stephen and James D. Magness; two sisters, Virginia and Anita Magness, as well as four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
