Joe Freeman

Joe Freeman, 80 of Roland, OK, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1940 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Donnie and Otis Gross Freeman. He was the former owner of Joe’s TV Repair. He was of the Free Will Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Freeman.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at the pavilion of Roland City Cemetery, arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by his companion, Veronica Chandler of Roland; a daughter, Debra Garris of Roland; a son, Walter Freeman and his wife Karen, of Benton, IL and a sister, Katherine Bowman of Van Buren. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason, Eric, Damon and Carl Freeman, Michael Allen and Ronnie Britton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jeff Ogden.

Public viewing will be from 12 Noon to 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
