Joanna Crouch Peek

JoAnna Crouch Peek, 96, of Fort Smith passed away July 13, 2023. She was born October 31, 1926 to the late L.W. and Maggie Crouch. She was a graduate of Fort Smith High School and earned a master’s degree from Mary-Hardin Baylor University. She retired from Pan American Oil after 40+ years of service.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald Peek, and three sisters, Virginia Fern Sharpe, Bessie Kester, and Carolyn Crouch. She is survived by niece, Gail and Johnny Ragsdale, nephew, Marshall and Carol Sharpe, nephew, Steve Kester, niece, Anita and Gary Roberts, and several great nieces and nephews.

Don and JoAnna moved from Fort Smith to Bethany, Oklahoma where they enjoyed their retirement years traveling in their motorhome along with playing golf and square dancing. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting and their four-legged friend, Punkin.

Arrangements under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven, Kansas.
