Jimmie Lee Whitehead

Jimmie Lee Whitehead, 80, of Fort Smith was born in Spiro, Oklahoma on December 13, 1940 and passed on August 27, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was a retired farmer, rancher and truck driver. Jimmie was a member of Spiro First United Methodist Church.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Sharon, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Nadine Martin Whitehead; two brothers Harvey Whitehead and Bill Whitehead; and a sister Bettie Whitehead Odom.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
