Jim R. Seay, 78, of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1944 in Vian, OK to the late Francis and Rhoda (Sutterfield) Seay. Jim was retired from Sparks Regional Medical Center. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of VFW Post 8845.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 16, 2023 at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Milana Maxwell and Aimee Moore; two step-daughters, Sheila Colburn and Shelley Briley; a step-son, Brent Riggins and two brothers, Tom and Gary Seay, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
