Jerry Don Womack

Jerry Don Womack, 79, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Loyd and Christine Womack. He grew up with his mother and stepfather, Carthal Wooley, and his sister, Melba Joyce Womack. Jerry was a retired maintenance worker for the city of Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of Cherokee #10 Masonic Lodge, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was of the non-denominational Christian faith. He is preceded in death by a son, Robert Womack; his parents, Loyd and Christine (Goings) Womack, his step-father Carthal Wooley and his sister, Melba Joyce (Womack) Lewis.

Jerry’s wishes were to have no celebration services, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Williams (Ray) of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Jamachia Marshall (Tramaine) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Taja McKesson of Memphis, Tennessee; two great grandchildren, Malachi Jones and Geavante Marshall, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
