Janet Fitch, 60 of Fort Smith, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1961 in Ada, OK. She was a pre-school teacher for 15 years at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she was also a church member, Sunday school teacher and actively involved with LWML. Janet raised her family and loved to take care of young children. She loved to go to the lake and spend time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sue Van Dusen and Doug Vance Price and a brother, Tony Price.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband Wayne, of the home; two sons, Keith Fitch (Jennifer) of Pocola and Kevin Fitch (Terra) of Fort Smith; two sisters, Sharmon Hayes (Mike) of Muskogee and Jennifer Lamproe of Fort Smith; mother-in-law, Joyce Fitch of Fort Smith and a sister-in-law, Wendy Howerton (Carl) of Alma. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Gianna, Gamble and Greyson Fitch, Mason, Brandon and Easton Stinnett.
Pallbearers will be Brett Hayes, Shawnn Howerton, Bryan Howerton, Tyler Price, Justin Reed and Troy Bercher.
Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
