James Rogers, 71 of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012. He was born on May 20, 1940 in Paris, AR to William and Amanda Colburn Rogers. He was an exercise equipment service technician, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Eagles Aerie 208 and the Fort Smith Little Theatre.
Rosary will be said 7:00 pm Monday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Carole of the home; two sons, Jimmy Rogers and his wife Lesley, of Prattville, AL and Michael Rogers and his wife Kerry, of Ann Arbor, MI; a sister, Mary Jane McConnell and her husband Cecil , of Village Mills, TX; a brother, Bill Rogers and his wife Dale, of Fort Smith. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Kate, Kara, Collin and Caroline Rogers.
Pallbearers will Scott Wilborn, Doug Brown, Ed Seiter, Charles Sloan, Jason Rogers and Justin Rogers.
