Glenda Del Pierce, 93, of Fort Smith, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. She was born on January 13, 1929 in Marmaduke, AR to Alvin and Bessie Wright. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Glenda enjoyed her little lunch group and shopping. Even at the age 93, she was the best at Wheel of Fortune! Glenda has been missing her soul mate for 12 years, after 63 years together, she will be happy to be reunited.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Pierce; parents, Alvin and Bessie Wright, her siblings, Luretha Wright, Delma Frislone, Christy Frye and Verlon Wright.
She is survived by her son Steve Pierce (Nancy), of Fort Smith; one sister, Deanna Fell (Mark) of Clinton, AR; two grandchildren, Morgan Pierce (Crissy) and Michelle Butler (Monte), both of Fort Smith and eight great grandchildren, Austin and Adam Pierce and Abbey and Emily Butler and Nick and Kylee Hancock, Lex Keaton and Hailee Bair. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
