Gary Harmon

Gary Harmon, 74, of Greenwood, died August 19, 2016 in Greenwood. He was born November 18, 1941 in Fort Smith to Gilbert Newton and Myrtha Louella Hartley Harmon. He was the Retired Regional Distribution Manager for the Pepsi Cola Company, Pro Shop manager for Deer Trails Golf Course, and he was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Becky of the home; three daughters, Debra & husband Steve Beam of Barling, Shayna and husband Dennis Gatzke of Greenwood, and Kathy and husband Mark Baumann of St. Louis, MO; one son, Gilbert “Gib” Harmon and wife Megan of Fort Smith; twelve grandchildren, Meredith Harmon, Paxton Harmon, Marlee Harmon, Steven Beam, Jr., Josh Beam, Kyle Beam, Brandy Ree, Dakota Archer, Mason Archer, Noah Harmon, Lacey Mensing, and Maggie Baumann; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary “Todd” Harmon; one brother, Jerry Avery Harmon and his parents, Gilbert and Myrtha Harmon.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Steven Beam, Jr., Josh Beam, Kyle Beam, Dakota Archer, Mason Archer, Noah Harmon and Aaron Ree.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Monday evening from 5-7 PM
