Freda Dunn

Freda found profound joy in her faith as a devoted member of Parkhill Church of Christ and in her family, who were the centerpiece of her life. She cherished moments spent cooking, crocheting, and enjoying games of bingo, but her heart truly belonged to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored immensely.

She was preceded in death by her cherished first husband, Walter Wade Goforth, and her second husband, W.E. Dunn; her parents, Clyde and Gertrude Dixon; and her siblings, Dorothy House, Ora Lee Taylor, and Janet Goforth. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Branham.

Freda leaves behind her children, Brenda Sharum (Don) and Mark Goforth (Paula); her grandchildren, Amanda Coco (Kipp), Erika Cameron (fiancé Dakota Brissey), Jessika Goforth (fiancé Steven Sellers), and Emily Summers (Clinton); and eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be 10 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
