Frank M. Post Sr.

Frank M. Post, Sr. 73 of Fort Smith passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 in Fort Smith. He was born December 26, 1937 in Peoria, Illinois. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Men’s Club. He was employed by Immaculate Conception School and Church for 43 years in maintenance and as a bus driver. He loved his work and all the children he came into contact with over the years. He loved his family and especially enjoyed the Christmas and Easter Holidays. He enjoyed Nascar racing and going to the beach. He was preceded in death by his parents Lenn and Vada Post, son Don Mark Post and two brothers Lenn Post, Jr. and John Post.

Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Post of the home, three sons; Kenneth Post and his wife Tammy of Springdale, Frank Post, Jr. and his wife Ronda of Greenwood, and Hubert Post and his wife Kathy of Arkoma; two daughters Vada Reynolds of Little Rock and Lynne Ward and her husband Barry of Van Buren; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Bobby Post and his wife Sis of Rock Island, OK and George Post and his wife Leanna of Hackett, his sisters Martha Metz of Lavaca, Carol Lowery and her husband Don of Houston, TX, Ann Roberts and her husband Gerald of Fort Smith, Rowena Robison and her husband Nathan of Rock Island, OK, many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Post, T.J. Sindle, Frankie Post, III, Colby Post, Rusty Sindle, Hubert Post, Jr., A.J. Reynolds, and Michael Reynolds.
