Frances Jeanne Brock 99 of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born on July 31,1922 in Brooklyn, Ohio to the late Ignatius and Sophie Maley. During her early life she lived in Los Angeles, California and worked for Hughes aircraft. Her time at Hughes was spent working on the space program including the apollo series sent to the moon. She was very proud of her work and later honored for her contribution to the space program.
In 1972 she moved with her late husband, Joe to Clarksville, Arkansas to start an adventure in farm life. During her retired life she engaged in many hobbies including, doll making, painting and philanthropy. She especially loved the Baptist children’s home in Monticello, Arkansas and would visit them every Christmas taking gifts for both the children and house parents.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Basil ‘Joe’ Brock, a sister Tess Boyert, brother, Karl Maley, and two grandsons, Scott Rusin and Noel Rusin.
She is survived by two daughters and three sons; Lisa Brock-Toth (Tony) of Fort Smith and Debra Graves (Greg) of Kansas, Ken Rusin (Cinda) of Fort Smith, Bruce and Dale Rusin of California. Thirteen grandchildren; Anthony Toth, Aaron Toth, J Elliott Toth, Christopher Graves, Kevin Rusin, Brad Rusin, Michael ‘Pete” Rusin, Michele Rusin, James Rusin, Heath Rusin, Ashley Reed, Jonathan Rusin and Brett Rusin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
