Eva L. Findlay

Eva L. Findlay, 101, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. She was born June 13, 1917 in Midland, AR to the late John and Blanche (Burnett) Whisenhunt. She was an Alteration Lady for Sears. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Past Matron for the Fort Smith Chapter of the order of the Eastern Star.

Her husband, John Findlay; son, Tom Findlay; grandson, Andrew Findlay; her sister, Agnes Lee Bray; and two brothers, John Alfred Whisenhunt and Paul Haskell Whisenhunt preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived her daughter, Nancy Loraine Robbins and husband Stan of Fort Smith; her son, Lesley Findlay and wife Debbie of Greenwood; five grandchildren, John Findlay, Carol Ballenger, Brandon Findlay, Josh Robbins and Molly Robbins; and four great grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
