Emma / mom, could be best described as a woman that was passionate about living and her family. Her life was filled with joy and happiness that she gave and received from all that were blessed to have known her. Mom loved life and her family with a passion. We thank God for the man that shared mom’s life, giving her the best years of her life, sharing her hopes and dreams and her passions. Giving mom unconditional love. Richard cherished our mother, admired her strength, strong will and self-determination. He worked tirelessly to complete a never ending "honey do" list of projects mom made for him. Simply put, he truly loved her and loved us. Such a wonderful man and we are so grateful that he is a part of our lives and gave mom the best years of hers! She had a "bubbly" personality, always happy and uplifting. She was a "spark plug" that energized everyone around her. Her life was filled with joy and happiness that she gave and received from all that were blessed to have known her. She was strong willed, filled with determination and perseverance. Richard embraced these wonderful attributes and encouraged mom to follow her hopes, dreams and passions together with him. Richard loved our mother without constraint as she did him. We are eternally grateful to him for being the love of our mother’s life and the “dad” he is to all of us. She enjoyed redecorating projects as she always had a project in mind….much to Richards’ dismay and plans for his much delayed retirement. We all agree, she missed her true calling as an interior decorator. We are certain that as she entered Heaven, she had a "few redecorating ideas" already in mind. That was mom. She loved trees and the lake where she and Richard moved to their home on Shadow Lake. She said she was not going to plant “nearly as many trees….”but now, you can’t hardly see the beautiful lake for the forest of trees she had Richard to plant for her. To sum it up, Emma / mom was passionate in everything she wanted to accomplish and accomplish she did!
