Dorothy Jean Johnson

Dorothy Johnson, 95, of Fort Smith Arkansas passed from this life December 27th, 2023. She was born to Katie (Terry) and Richard Crick on August 1st, 1928. Dorothy married Floyd Johnson in 1948 and they had one daughter.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Katie and Richard Crick, her husband of 57 years Floyd and her 6 siblings.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Pat (Mickey) Eller, her granddaughters, Amy (Chris) Anderson and Trisha (Matt) Terry, her great grandchildren, Cali (Cameron) York, Alexis (Adam) Crouse, Cade (Jesi) Anderson, Emily (Jeff) Branson, Laynee Tapp, Juliana Anderson, Lucas Tapp, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy loved her family, God and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy in life was pastoring for 23 years with her husband, Rev Johnson at Adair Assembly of God in Louisville, Kentucky. After moving to Fort Smith, she enjoyed teaching adult Sunday School for over 20 years at Barling First Assembly of God.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at 2pm at Edward’s Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.
