Dorothy Burk Bowman, 99 of Barling, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was born March 6, 1916 in Downingtown, PA. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Bowman of Philadelphia.
She is survived by her nephew, Jay Burk of Fort Smith; her niece, Jean Pence of Barling; a grand niece, Aimee Minick Furness of Dallas Texas, and four grand nephews, Travis Trotter of Chandler, AZ, Trevor Trotter, Oliver Trotter and Alister Trotter, all of Tempe, Arizona.
A memorial service with inurnment will be held at Willowbrook United Methodist Church in Sun City, Arizona at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
