Donald Leon Thompson

Donald Leon Thompson, 66, of Fort Smith, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1956 in Fort Smith to the late Jim and Rose Thompson. Donald was a car dealer for Thompson Auto Sales. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his friends at bike rallies. He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kristal Taldo (Shawn) of Fort Smith, Amy Haley (Jason) of Arkoma and Jessica Young of Fort Smith; his sister, Violet Stephens of Van Buren; eight grandchildren, Trenton Smith, Breanna Barrett (Eric), Toby Young, Erin Young, Elijah Haley, Caylin Young, Brayden McClain and Jasiah Kennedy, along with one great grandchild, Amelia Smith. He is also survived by his former spouse, Brenda Mott. Donald was preceded in death by: Parents, Jim and Rose Thompson, Brothers: James Thompson, Clyde Thompson and Frankie Thompson, Sisters: Margie Allen, Delia Skelton, and Ivy Ellenberger.

A celebration of his Life will be a later date, cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
