Di-Anna Freeman

Di-Anna Sue Papet Freeman departed this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 30, 2025 in Fort Smith, AR . She was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 26, 1952. Di-Anna was preceded in death by her father, Lehman Eugene Papet, mother Nellie Eva (Lay) Papet and grandson Quinn Alexander Dusty.

Di-Anna is survived by husband David Freeman, sisters Kathy Otwell, Wilma Arthur, brothers Gene Papet (Sherri) and James Papet (Debbie), daughters Stephanie Pearson, Traci Freeman, sons Brad Freeman (Lyn) and Chris Dusty (Angie). She had 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Di-Anna enjoyed history and loved to travel and see historic sites. She followed politics closely and held very conservative values and was more than willing to share her views. Di-Anna was the owner and operator of Freeman Insurance Services.

She loved her children and grandchildren with a love that cannot be described and would defend them with her life. Her passion and love for family and friends was only surpassed by her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A memorial service celebrating Di-Anna’s life will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Grand Avenue Baptist Church, 3900 Grand Avenue, Fort Smith, AR.
