Danielle Erickson, 74, of Fort Smith died of sudden cardiac death in her home on Sunday November 1, 2020. She is now in her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior and her one true love Clark A. Erickson.
She was born April 13, 1946, in Los Angeles to James Eugene and Vanita Jean Albert.
She graduated from Northside High school in 1964 and from the Sparks Medical Center school of Nursing in 1967 as a Registered Nurse. She married June Roberts and had one daughter Amy Elizabeth in 1968. She began her career at Holt Krock Clinic in the Radiation Oncology department in 1968 and retired from there in 1987 after many years of compassionately caring for her patients.
She married Clark A. Erickson In 1986, whom she adored. She continued her career as a nurse in the emergency room in the early 1990’s at St. Edward Hospital which eventually became Mercy Healthcare. She retired from there after a long battle with bone disease. She was blessed with a wonderful grandson Alexander Fosnaugh in 1993 who was the light of her life.
She bowled on a league for many years with her co-workers and friends, loved spending weekends in the sun at her lake house and on the water boating and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clark A. Erickson; and her sister Sandra Jean Albert.
She is survived by a daughter Amy Elizabeth Roberts and her companion Robert Stell of Sachse, TX; a grandson, Alexander Fosnaugh and wife Courtney of Centerton, AR, four step children, Stephen Erickson and Brooke Erickson both of Little Rock, AR, Curtis Erickson of Phoenix, AZ and Mathew Erickson of Jena, LA; and a brother James D. Albert of Fort Smith.
Per Danielle’s wishes a private committal will be held at the he U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Services have been entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
