Daniel Forshee

Daniel Eugene Forshee, 62, passed from this life September 27, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born April 7, 1962 in Malden, MO to Ronald and Mary Forshee. Danny and his six siblings were raised in Missouri, where he discovered a love of the outdoors with his dad and brothers. Throughout most of his earlier years, he could be found on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi catching his limit of catfish, or camping on weekends with his brother Gary and their children.

Dannny was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Forshee; and siblings, Tracy Forshee and Mark Forshee.

Danny is survived by his two daughters, Danielle (Darrell) Littrell of Poplar Bluff, MO and Ashley (Dakota) Nordmeyer of Poplar Bluff, MO; four grandchildren, Sharon, Austin, Damon, and Atlas. Additionally he is survived by four siblings, Gary (Janie) Forshee of MO, Sandy Fondren of Fort Smith, Virginia (Richard) Rutledge of Tulsa, OK, and Tommy Forshee of Fort Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

Although Danny’s life was short, he will be remembered for his love of Cardinals baseball, fishing, and his infectious laugh.

Family burial of ashes will be at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith.
