Cindy Shumate, 61, of Barling, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She was born on February 26, 1960 in Ozark to the late Richard and Linda Wilson Shumate. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Shumate.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sisters, Dixie Lyons of Dora, OK and Selina Klinghamer and her husband Mark, of Sherman, TX and a sister-in-law Diane Shumate of Fort Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sebastian County Retirement Center, c/o the administrator, 115 Fort Street, Barling, AR 72923.
