Charlotte McDonald Jones

Charlotte McDonald Jones, 61, of Fort Smith, died December 9, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born March 7, 1952 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Charles William and Mary Elizabeth Flinn McDonald. She was a dispatcher for the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the St. Cecilia Handbell Choir. She was a former member of the Fort Smith Symphony and South Arkansas Symphony. She is survived by her mother, Mary McDonald of Fort Smith; one sister, Emily Evans and her husband Ron of Fort Smith; one nephew, Stephen Evans of Fort Smith; and special friend Conley Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Jones and her father Charles W. McDonald. Graveside service will be Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Oak Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
