Charles Smith

He was born on April 22, 1937 in Allen, Oklahoma to Sybil and Charles Smith Sr. In life, Charles always had three things in life to live by; love the Lord your God with everything, love your neighbor as yourself, and love your enemies. With those three, no one is left out of being loved.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Smith; parents Charles Sr. and Sybil; brother John Smith; and brother in law Clayton Allensworth.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Randy (Ruth) Bruss, Dave (Rita) Smith, Kim Cox, Debbie (Larry) Malekow, and Leah Smith; siblings Bob (Claudia) Smith and Anita Allensworth, sister in law Sandy Smith, along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.

Funeral Service will occur Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Rye Hill Baptist Church, 11501 US-71, Fort Smith, AR 72916 with burial at Oak Cemetery to follow.
