Charles S. Parker, 86, of Fort Smith, died May 1, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born February 2, 1926 to Whit B. and Ethel Slade Parker in El Dorado, AR. He was retired from the FAA as a Long Range Radar Tech and member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelly Leckie of Fort Smith; one son, Dana Parker of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and his companion, Betty Stephens of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethelene Parker.
Memorial service will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Grace Community United Methodist Church. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
