Carolyn L. Huggins Mosby

Carolyn L. Mosby, 67, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011. She was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church, lifetime member of the PTA of the Fort Smith School System and lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold “Hoss” Mosby.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Evangel Temple with Rev. Don Hutchings officiating. Burial will be at Keota City Cemetery in Keota, OK under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

She is survived by two daughters Tammy Thies and husband Ronald Saffer of Plano, TX and Teresa Johnson and husband Steven of Fort Smith, one son Jeffrey Mosby and wife Tracy of Fort Smith, one sister Linda Reed of Fort Smith, five grandchildren Billy Heathcock III, Curtis Heathcock, Alisha Heathcock, Jessica Johnson and Lexie Mosby and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Heathcock III, Curtis Heathcock, Damon Elkins, Tommy Henry, John Newton, Tony Nease, Richard Huggins and A. G. Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pace Setters Sunday School Class at Evangel Temple.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
