Carlos Araujo-Mejia, 20, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in Fort Smith. He was born on August 21, 1994 in Mexico. He was a graduate of Southside High School and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Funeral mass will be 9:00 AM Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather SanJuana Mejia and Rodrigo Sanchez of Fort Smith, three brothers, Ricardo Araujo-Mejia, Adrian Araujo-Mejia, Jose Jesus Sanchez and one sister, Rosario Sanchez, all of Fort Smith; maternal grandparents, Juan and Margarita Mejia of Fort Smith and maternal great grandmother, Concepcion ManJarrez of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Manuel Mejia, Valentin Mejia, Antonio Araujo, Dionisio Mejia, Ivan Perez and Rodrigo Sanchez.
