Brenda C. Davies, 72, of Spiro, Oklahoma passed away on October 25, 2019. She was born March 6, 1947 in Fort Smith, AR to George A. Thigpin and Lenora A. Brown Thigpin. She was a member of Spiro First Baptist Church. Brenda was retired from Planters Peanuts in Fort Smith. She loved to read, watch movies, work jigsaw puzzles and most of all take care of her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 56 years, Frank W. Davies; one daughter, Leanna Kay Davies of Spiro, OK; one son, Terry Dale Davies and wife Ruth Ann of Spiro, OK; one sister, Marilyn Kay Young of Conway, AR; one brother, Jerry Lee Brown of Fort Smith, AR; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Gene Downing of Spiro, OK; two grandchildren, Brandon Dale Davies and wife Amanda of Spiro, OK and Andrea Dawn Davies of Spiro, OK; three great grandchildren, Kameron, Kandace and Zach Davies, all of Spiro, OK.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Spiro City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
