Beverly May Fisher

Beverly May Fisher, 82 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born August 11, 1931 in Syracuse, NY to the late Olin and Cora Hinman. She was a member of Midland Heights United Methodist Church and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Fisher and her brother Jerry Hinman. Mrs. Fisher was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and loved the holidays with her family at her home.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Midland Heights United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by five children; Sandra Putnam and her husband Rick of Ft. Smith, Mike Fisher of Ft. Smith, Linda Tindle and her husband Terry of Van Buren, Connie Ruth Hill of Ft. Smith and Teresa Diane Graves of Ft. Smith, her sister Audrey Williams of New York, and three brothers; Dickey, Doug, and Gordon Hinman, her 11 Grandchildren; Kevin Clifton, ShaRay Scott, Shawn Putnam, Terry Tindle, Jr., Crystal Smith, Malcolm Hill, Shannon Montez, Amanda Stewart, Camie Ward, Billy Stewart, and Collin Wagley and her 22 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rick Putnam, David Smith, Malcolm Hill, Terry Tindle, Shawn Putnam, and Ed Bachlitner.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Fentress Mortuary.
