Betty "Joyce" Spicer

Joyce Spicer, 79, of Fort Smith, died March 13, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born June 2, 1934 in Watson, Oklahoma to Herman Edward and Nona Marie Parnell Blake. She was a retired LPN from Sparks Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Collier of Fort Smith and Nola Stanart of Muldrow; four sons, Doug Bradley of Oklahoma, David Bradley of Little Rock, AR., Dewayne Bradley of Virginia, and Lorin Bradley of Fort Smith; seven sisters, Francis Hartley of Oklahoma, Mayola Parish of Arkansas, Mable Martin of Heber Springs, AR., Mary Lou Phillips of Oklahoma, Edith Sinyard of Oklahoma, Anna Stafford of Colorado, and Donna Smith of Oklahoma; three brothers, Almon Blake, Tommy Blake, and Richard Blake all of Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Dean Spicer and one brother Michael Blake. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.
