Betty Isaacs

Betty Isaacs, 83, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012, in Fort Smith. She was born March 27, 1929 in Greenwood, AR to Ernest J. and Reba O. Wolverton Oldham. She was a retired Controller for Peterson Motors in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. She was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church and she was involved in the Baptist W.M. U. in California and Arkansas. She was a talented Artist. She was an accomplished Pianist and was a church pianist for many years. She was a volunteer at Sparks Regional Medical Center for many years.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jonathan Hamby officiating. Private burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Marion C. Isaacs, one daughter Bettye Lynn Stanbery of Shelbyville, KY, one sister Shirley Ann Oldham Stewart and husband Ray of Fort Smith and one brother Bill Oldham and wife Juanita of Van Buren, AR.
