Arlie Freeman, 78 of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011. She was born April 5, 1933 in Paris, AR to the late Charles and Icey Case. Her greatest love and life work was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church, a former member of Sparks Guild, the Women’s Crisis Shelter, and former Sunday school Teacher at Evangel Temple and past president of WMC there. She loved to paint pictures, bake sourdough bread and pies, and travel. She took several trips to Israel and many other Middle Eastern Countries, as well as Greece and Rome, which was another love of her life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Linda Whitehead and brother Harley Case.
Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 30th at First Baptist Church with Brother Dale Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Freeman of the home, daughter Cheryl Anderson and her husband Mike of Greenville, SC, her son Ralph Freeman, Jr. and his companion Susie Henley of Fayetteville, and two grandchildren Michael Jason and Beau Anderson of Greenville, SC; three brothers; Edward Case and his wife Terry of Reseda, CA, Tommy Case and his wife Claudia of Paris, AR and Jim Case also of Paris, AR. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Macarthur Williams, Michael Jason Anderson, Beau Anderson, Don Moon, Bill Little, and James Brooks.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, September 29th at the funeral home.
