Ariel Michael Barroso, 25 of Fort Smith, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born on December 28, 1998 in Fort Smith. Mikey, as he was known to his family and friends, was a construction worker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mikey had a great personality, he was uplifting and funny. He was always the life of the party and loved to make everyone around him laugh. He would listen to music and just get up to dance just to get us to laugh. He played a big part in everyone’s life and made a great impact on everyone he met along the way. He was someone you could talk to for hours about anything and would never judge you. No one can ever say anything different about him, we all knew the great person that he was. Now he is peacefully resting and is now in heaven and even though we can’t talk to him in person I know he is hearing us and know we miss him. He will always be our baby brother & our parent’s baby boy. We love you Mikey.
He is survived by his mother, Alicia Barroso of Rogers, AR and his father, Javier Barroso of Fort Smith; four sisters, Marisol Barroso of Greenwood and Jazmin, Ruby and Alicia Barroso, all of Fort Smith; two brothers, Javier Barroso and Luis Barroso, both of Greenwood.
Public viewing will be from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, March 11, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery.
