Antoniette L. Hindman, 88, of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, in Fort Smith. She was born February 28, 1923 in Fort Smith to Sarino and Ouida (Caldarera) Lovoi. She was a homemaker, an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church where she had many volunteer activities including the Sewing Circle, the Bereavement Circle and she belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America. She was known for her hospitality and cookies.
In addition to her parents, Toni, was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon Bowen, her second husband of forty-three years Fred Hindman, her brother Paul Lovoi and his wife Gertrude of Tulsa, OK and son-in-law Mike Mondier of Van Buren.
Rosary will be 6:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 18, 2011, at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Toni is survived by two daughters Theresa Sonnier and husband Joe of Fort Smith and Mary Mondier of Van Buren, one son Philip Hindman and wife Laurie of Fort Smith, three sisters Augustina Lovoi and Mary Ann McMahon and husband David of Fort Smith and Dolores Moellers and husband Bob of Pine Bluff, AR, her brother Vincent Lovoi and wife Sandra of Houston, TX, ten grandchildren Anna Sonnier Gattis and husband Bill of Bentonville, AR, Audra Sonnier Harper and husband Brian of Fort Smith, J.P. Sonnier and wife Cara of Barling, Mark Mondier of Van Buren, Matt Mondier, Brooke, Jana, Kelsey, Andrew and Maria Hindman of Fort Smith, brother-in-law Alden Bowen of Little Rock and two precious great grandchildren Allie and Hayden.
Pallbearers will be Mark Mondier, Matt Mondier, J. P. Sonnier, Andrew Hindman, Brian Harper and Bill Gattis.
The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
