Anna Marie (Overlease) Hunter, 84, of Arkoma passed from this life May 19, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born May 3, 1937 in Rolla, Missouri. Anna was the daughter of Claude and Octavia Overlease. She was one of 11 children. After graduating from high school at the age of 18, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to live with an older sister. Anna remained in Boston, met Richard Hunter and married in June 1956. Anna lived most of her life in Derry, New Hampshire.
Anna has three children, Debbie Boutin of Lavaca, Sandy Bolton of Tilton, New Hampshire and Danny, who is deceased. One grandson, David Bolton and wife, Te’Najia of Dallas, Texas and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Grace Bolton. One Grandson Peter Boutin, of Malvern, AR. Two Sons in law, Richard Boutin and Rob Bolton.
Anna moved to Arkoma, Oklahoma in 2003 to be with her twin sister, Wanda and to live in a warmer climate. Anna attended Arkoma First Baptist Church. She loved to sew, quilt and go to yard sales with her friends.
