Angel as she was affectionately called by all, was born in Fort Smith, AR to Theodore A. Dodson Jr. and Willie D. Dodson, who preceded her in death. Angela graduated from Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, CA where she later became a licensed Cosmetologist.

Later she became the proud mother of a beautiful son, Chad Irving Jr. Angel was a mother, a mentor, and a friend to all who come across her path especially the young women in the community. She would routinely open her home and offer her resources to those who needed to know God’s love. Angel was a faithful member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, of Fort Smith, AR.
