Ruby Winnifred Rose HOPF passed away peacefully on February 13, 2014 at the age of 83 years in Edmonton. She will be missed and forever remembered by her children; Brian (Lillian), Douglas (Carmen), Lyle (Bernice), Walter (Marion); daughter-in-law, Patt; brothers, Art (Gloria) Davies and Bob (Nettie) Davies; by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; by her special friend, Mel and by numerous other relatives and friends. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Earl; son, Danny; grandson, Joel; daughter-in-law, Shelley; her parents and her sister, Pearl.
An amazing woman, Ruby loved her family, and was well known by many for her gardening and having a meal ready within minutes for anyone who might drop by.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5004 – 52 Avenue, Ryley, Alberta. In lieu of flowers donations in Ruby’s memory gratefully appreciated directly to the Alzheimer Society, Administrative Office, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1.
