Matthew Joseph Unwin Preville

Matthew was born on June 27th, 1987, to Pam Preville in Edmonton, Alberta.

In 2012, Matthew met his wife, Kayla Rumbolt, in Edmonton. Together, they settled in Fort Saskatchewan with their three beautiful children, Avery (12), Autumn (9), and Oliver (5).

Matt was a remarkable individual whose passion for people and unwavering dedication inspired everyone around him. He was widely respected for his exceptional leadership skills, innovative strategies, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

He played a pivotal role in shaping the success of not only the companies he worked with, but the individuals who surrounded him. Colleagues remember Matt as a visionary leader who always put his team first and consistently exceeded targets.

He will be lovingly remembered by his Wife, Kayla; Sons, Avery and Oliver; Daughter, Autumn; Mother, Pam; Stepfather, Desmond; Brother, Zachary; Cousins, Steve and Scott Tilley; Grandmother, Doreen Preville and many, many friends.

Matthew is predeceased by his Aunt, Judy Unwin Tilley; his Uncle, David Tilley; his Stepbrother, Tyler Stuart, and his Grandfather, Paul Preville.

Matt was a dedicated family person and a beloved member of the community. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Lions Mane Room at The Dow Centennial Centre, 8700 84 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, AB on November 10th, 2023 at 3:00 pm for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to SMART Recovery, an organization Matthew cared strongly about.
