Esther was born in the winter of 1935 on a homestead north of Edmonton in Camp Creek, AB to Gustav & Emma Weber as one of their eight children. The family moved several times throughout Esther’s childhood ultimately setting down roots in Fort Saskatchewan. Art & Esther met in Edmonton in the mid-50’s, they were married in 1957 and shortly thereafter blessed with 3 children. They raised their family just outside of Sherwood Park on an acreage they both loved and cared for. Through the years Esther enjoyed bowling with her friends, playing slo-pitch and camping at various lakes in Alberta & Saskatchewan. Her favourite lake was Lac des Isles, SK where they camped for 28 years with numerous family & friends making many fond memories. For several years they owned & operated a successful business in Sherwood Park during which Esther honed her bookkeeping skills. During the later years she spent time baking for her family, playing games and sitting down to enjoy a puzzle with Art. Esther loved to laugh and will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour and love of a good joke.
