Christina was born on October 18, 1926 in Glasgow, Scotland. She met Jim, the love of her life, there and married him in 1948. Chris and Jim emigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1957 with their 2 children, Sandra and Jim, later adding Heather and Rhonda to the family. Jim joined the Canadian Military and they resided in five different provinces. They lived in Edmonton and retired to Penticton, BC in 1990. After Jim’s passing in 2000, Chris moved to Sherwood Park, AB. In recent years, Chris maintained a summer residence in Enderby, BC where she enjoyed the outdoors, particularly gardening and socializing with her many friends. Chris was an amazing mother, grandmother and “Granny” who would do anything for her family and friends. She passed away in Edmonton on November 21, 2011. She will be dearly missed.
