Brenda Joan Chorney

Brenda (nee Taylor) was born on October 31, 1946 in Edmonton, Alberta. Brenda is survived by her husband, David Chorney; children, Grant, Paula and Greg (Krista); and the light of her life, her three grandchildren, Matthew, Maya and Grace. Brenda is predeceased by her parents, Dan and Joan Taylor, and her beloved brother, Dan "Bud" Taylor.

Brenda lived a life of many accomplishments, but her passions and pride were her family, spending time at the cabin, sports (go Oilers, go Jay's), cooking, and her vegetable and flower gardens were a sight to behold.

Brenda was our rock, the centre of our universe, our soft place to fall, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew, and loved her.

First Memorial Funeral Services – Riverview Chapel is participating in Alberta’s restrictions exemption program. All individuals attending indoor funeral services will be required to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption

A visitation for Brenda will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at First Memorial Funeral Services - Riverview Chapel, 11090-86 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta T8L4K6, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Bridgeview Room at First Memorial Funeral Services - Riverview Chapel.
