He was predeceased by his mother and father, Viola & Warren Pierce; his siblings: Mel Pierce, Don Pierce and Dorlyn Pierce and his sister-in-law Peggy Pierce (Don).
He is survived by his beloved wife Linda Pierce, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. Jack is also survived by his children Ron Pierce (Tracey) and Joanne Rush (Denver) and his cherished grandchildren: Gage Pierce, Mackenna Pierce, Bailey Rush and Travis Rush. Jack is also remembered by his sister Beverley Sanders (Mervin); his sisters-in-law Elaine Pierce (Mel) and Agnes Pierce (Dorlyn) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack was always the life of the party, passionate about many activities, including hunting, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, camping, playing pool and card games. He had a fondness for Linda’s flowers and loved spending time with his family. Jack was admired by all who knew him. A devoted man to his loving wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
There will be a bit of “Jacko” left in all of us, with his words of wisdom and quick one-liners.
Jack will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The world will be a little less fun without him.
A celebration of life will be held in the Balcarres Hall, Balcarres, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
