Tom attended Timken Vocational High School in Canton where he was a class officer and cheerleader. Shortly after graduation he joined the Air Force. While home on leave he married and soon after was deployed to Vietnam. Tom was an airplane mechanic and rose to the rank of Sergeant. Two weeks before his tour ended he was severely injured during a mortar attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart and various other medals.
After his honorable discharge from the Air Force he worked in the painting and wallpapering industry. His favorite past times were bowling and golfing. He belonged to The American Legion and was a devoted member of the Moose.
He was preceded in death by brother's James and Kenneth Kulscar. He is survived by his four children: TJ (Suzie) Kulscar of Vero Beach, Casey (Elizabeth) Kulscar of Apopka, Chad Kulscar of Vero Beach and Mandee (Lori) Kulscar of Lakewood Park. Two Grandsons, Hunter Kulscar of Vero Beach and Clyde Kulscar of Apopka. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Waudby of Baltimore, MD.
Tom will be interred in the Veteran's Section of Hillcrest Cemetery. A graveside Military service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM.
