Roy was born in Frankfield, Jamaica and had been a resident of Vero Beach for over 20 years coming from Mt. Vernon, NY.
Prior to retirement, Roy worked as an accountant.
Roy enjoyed cricket and tending his garden of fruit trees. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include his brothers, Desmond Stewart, of Ontario, Lascelle Stewart, of Bronx, NY, Canada, Godfrey Stewart, of Rockland, NY; sisters, Thelma Stewart, of Kingston, Jamaica, Pearl Stewart, of Manchester, England, Olive Lewis, of Frankfield, Jamaica, Elaine Knight and Celia Jackson, both of Kingston, Jamaica.
Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Stewart, and sisters, Reva Reid and Eulalee Williams.
A visitation will be held 12-1pm with a Funeral Service at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
