Rosa M Hedrick

Rosa Hedrick, age 93, born 10/18/1929 in Corbin, KY and a resident of Vero Beach, Florida since 1959, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Rosa is predeceased by her husband of 72 years Charles C Hedrick, her son Darrell W Hedrick, her two sisters Brenda Elso and Jeanette Ellison, and son in law Bob Jolley. She is survived by her 3 daughters Kathy Burger (Art), Teresa Buben, and Wendy Hedrick. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and one very special Great Great Granddaughter. She also leaves behind a brother and 4 sisters, along with many nieces and nephews.

Rosa was a homemaker and housewife, who took great pride in raising her children with respect and dignity. She was an animal lover thru and thru, and she enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was very proud of the fact that she had a pilot's license and always wanted to fly off on vacation. She enjoyed the thrill of driving the neighborhood kids around, despite the fact that she had no drivers license in her younger years. Arts and crafts kept her busy when she wasn't gardening, or sewing and creating cloths for the kids to wear. Family meant the most to her and she held them all near and dear to her heart. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A graveside service will occur Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North Us Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
