Miriam Ann Weismantel

Miriam was born in Brooklyn, New York and has been a resident of Ft. Pierce for the past 26 years, coming from Long Island, New York.

Miriam was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church and the Telephone Pioneers. She was the Treasurer of the social club in “The Grove”; she was also a member of the Grove Bowling League for 12 years. Miriam was involved in charity work and was a great seamstress.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joseph Weismantel of Fort Pierce, FL, sons Paul Weismantel of Delray Beach, FL and Stephen Weismantel of Lindenhurst, NY, daughters Susan Piccininni of Deer Park, NY and Linda Morris of Micanopy, FL, sister, Audrey Buck of Cary, NC, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 9, 2012, from 2-4 PM and 6-8pm at Aycock Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce, FL. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday November 10, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Lucie Catholic Church; Port St. Lucie, FL, Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
