Martha was born in New York City, NY and moved to Fort Pierce, FL 26 years ago coming from Bronx, NY. Prior to retirement she worked as a teacher for the NYC school system for 35 years.
Martha received her BA degree in education from Fordham University and a master degree in guidance counseling from Hunter in NY. She was a member of the Pinochle Club and Bridge Club in Spanish Lakes Fairways.
Survivors include husband James F. McGuire of Fort Pierce and her sister Dorothy Wallace Palm Coast FL. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony & Santina Piscopo, three sisters Matilda Gleim, Marie Agnello, Grace Signorello, and a brother Joseph Piscopo.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home 6026 N. US Highway 1 Ft. Pierce
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St Mark Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, FL.
Contributions may be made in Martha’s honor to St. Vincent de Paul Society Fort Pierce, FL.
