Marie Estelle Howell

Marie was born in Milford, MA and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for over 40 years before moving to North Carolina.

Prior to retirement Marie had been the Proprietor of Marie Howell Insurance Services in Fort Pierce. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce and a member of the American Legion. Marie enjoyed dancing, bowling, her beloved family and pets.

Marie was survived by her sons, John Howell, of Maiden, NC, Robert Howell Sr., of Port St Lucie, FL, Glenn Howell, of Lincolnton, NC; daughters, Michele Cocchia, of Fort Pierce, FL, Maureen Cantley, of Costa Rica; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Baker, her brother, Victor Edward Jason and her parents.

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
